Voxel Events Poll. I need you're opinion on how something should function.

How would you prefer to manage event inventory?

Option A: Per Time Slot Each time slot has its own separate inventory. For example, if you have 10am and 2pm slots, each can have different available quantities. Example: Fitness classes – Morning yoga in a small room (15 spots), evening class in the main studio (40 spots)

Option B: Global Per Day Set one inventory amount that automatically applies to every time slot. For example, entering 50 gives you 50 spots available at 10am AND 50 spots available at 2pm. Example: Escape room – Same room, same capacity of 10 people whether it's the 10am, 12pm, or 3pm session

Option A does allow you to enter in the same qty per time slot so best of both worlds.

I voted option A for maximum flexibility

Oga Yes exactly in the same way as voxel,

I have events that last few days or weeks
Festivals 5 or 10 days so block booking of days and times would be important

A! Need to be able to meet lots of different requirements

Option A for exactly the scenario you listed. Morning slots might be staffed differently from night slots for example. Question: will all slots for a given event be the same price? My scenario: a morning event for kids that is priced less than the afternoon event for adults. Technically the same event, different slots.

Dave Denis You can set different price tickets. So you could have a ticket price called General at £10 and one called General at £15 then set the number of one at 0, and vice versa. So, yes.

I believe Donald McGuinn is going to make it so you can choose whether an option is shown at all. That was you wouldn't see the morning prices on the afternoon sessions.

Jack Dixon that's perfect. I have Member and Non-member pricing for the same event. Really looking forward to this.

Dave Denis I just added the ability to do different prices for timeslots and will be releasing that beta for testing to my users hopefully tonight.

Dave Denis because Donald McGuinn is a machine, it's already there and working. You can set prices called "General Admission" (or whatever you want) and set different prices. Then for your morning / afternoon slots you can assign the different prices. Works really well.
