Hi Donald, I have a suggestion to be informed when there is a new post, reply, etc. Instead of sending emails (which overflows my inbox), add the info to the browser tab like in Gmail, for example.
When you get a new notification the favicon changes and the title of the tab changes to reflect it as well currently.

What ever yeah it should be doing that already. Little gold bell shows up for me when I have the tab open.
What ever also be sure to enable all post notifications in the notification settings under your profile too.
